Go Back

Hi Everyone,

My name is Joe Salvati, I am the new Account Manager here at Paycycle.

I'm really excited to be coming on board at a time when we have so many great things happening.

After working at some stuffy not-for-profits in New York it feels good to be at a start-up that really cares about customers and their user experience.

Originally from Chicago, I moved to New York City at 18 to go to Uni and pursue my dream of being a killer musician.  I was in NYC for 9 years and did the whole music thing.  I am sad to report however that touring is not as filled with debauchery as one would think. It is mostly sitting in a van for long hours with a bunch of other smelly dudes eating bad food from truck stops.

That being said I still have the music bug. I am currently the drummer in an up and coming band based here in  Melbourne called The Book of Ships.  You can check out our music here.

Since moving to Melbourne nearly two years ago, I have been loving it. I have become a raging coffee snob and met some great people such as Agus and Stuart while studying my Masters in Entrepreneurship.

I'm really looking  forward to getting to know all of our current partners and showing our new partners how easy payroll can really be.

If you have any questions or just want to say hi, you can reach me at joe [dot] salvati [at] paycycle etc.

PS. I still don't really understand cricket yet. If anyone can help explain that to me I would really appreciate it!

Hi Joe, got your phone message, still learning with Paycycle for now, may go onto a micro subscription soon, but actually I have very seasonal workers. I employ up to 10 staff for less than 3 months of the year, and then only myself for the rest of the year. So sitting on the free subscription for now...... One part of me wants to ask if you can make a subscription to accomodate that, but I realise there needs to be continuity for Paycycle to generate full year employee reports. Maybe a subscription on % of wages paid?

Great sounds out of Book of Ships, make sure you get yourselves on JJJ !!

    Hi Bill,

Thanks for the comment. I'll send you an e-mail in response to your questions.
I'm glad you are enjoying the book of ships. We are already on JJJ unearthed , trying to migrate across to regular airplay. Hopefully that will come through after we release our next album (which we are now writing).

Will send through the e-mail shortly,
    Joe
