Pardon my french... But we're pretty excited!
Over the Easter break, we published our last release before our Official Launch on April 19th. And we think it's a turning point. In fact, we're really proud of how it's all coming together. Remember when we said that for us, the user interface (or user experience) was key?
That if our baby looked good, was intuitive and provided all the basic functionality to begin with, then we would achieve our goal of making the whole payroll experience more enjoyable for you (or at least less painful!)?
Here is a screenshot on how a schedule payrun page looks like after today's release. The pay template also has a similar colourful look and feel. Not only do they look great and colourful (except for the Tax section, which is deliberately gloomy!), but they are very easy to add, modify and use in general.
The colours aren't coincidence either. Green for GO. That is earnings, or wages, salary, base hourly. Whatever you want to call it. Blue is for deductions. Perhaps a car lease or FBT allocation. Grey is for Tax of course and orange is for super. You know, a little cautionary perhaps. Super is a long term thing, practical and logical thing to do. Just like the orange in a traffic light. It's only there for a practical purpose! And because I'd run out of colors, reimbursements are in pink.

Besides these changes, you'll find some add ins, especially in employee management, but you'll find all updates in our Tour. If you have any questions, send us an email to support@paycycle.com.au or pop a short question!
We hope you use it, enjoy it and give us feedback on your feelings and user experience.
As we build up to launch we're working hard on all our reporting functionality and the dashboard in particular. Leave and entitlements will follow soon after.
Stay tuned!
